President and Chief Executive Officer
As Founder of NorthStar Memorial Group, Mr. Hamilton has over 20 years of professional experience in a broad range of responsibilities including corporate acquisitions, financial management, corporate development, operational management and sales leadership.
Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Sullivan has over 23 years of experience in the profession in both operational management and sales management roles. He has overall responsibility for the delivery of the company’s products and service to client families.
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
He is responsible for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial activities of the Company, including financing, acquisitions, and trust management. Mr. Shinder has served as financial advisor to a number of leading, multinational companies prior to joining the management team in 2004.
Mr. Hale brings over 20 years of broad corporate legal experience to our management team with a heavy emphasis in mergers, acquisitions and corporate governance. Mr. Hale has significant experience with business consolidation companies and brings a pragmatic, results oriented viewpoint in review of growth opportunities
Director of Human Resources
Ms. Howison brings more than 15 years of human resource and educational experience across a variety of industries to NorthStar. Her objective is to orchestrate the achievement of one of NorthStar’s founding goals: to be one of the top mid-sized companies to work for. Ms. Howison’s rare combination of passion, humor and enthusiasm touches every department and function of the company. Ms. Howison maintains professional human resource management accreditation and membership to a number of professional organizations.
Director of Company Administration
Ms. Gilmore joined the profession in 1987 and has been with Northstar Memorial Group since 2005. Her focal point is to provide an excellent internal support network that ensures NorthStar’s ability to provide caring and compassionate service to its customers. Deb is President of the Florida Cemetery Cremation and Funeral Association.

Mr. Taylor is Vice President of Sales for our Eastern Region. With over 17 years of experience in sales Mr. Taylor is a member of several professional associations. A leader in hiring, training and development of quality sales managers focused on preneed planning.

Mr. Jenkins grew up in the business with a family owned cemetery. After distinguished military service, Mr. Jenkins went on to hold corporate management positions in the profession including that of Area Manager. Mr. Jenkins joined NorthStar in 2005 bringing with him over 35 years of experience.

Chris comes to us with 17 years of professional experience in combined sales and operations. He directed the sales and operations functions of various regional areas in ever expanding levels of responsibility

Mr. Renfro oversees the innovative products and services provided to our customers and their families. A licensed funeral director and embalmer, Mr. Renfro has served in many professional associations including President of the Illinois Cemetery and Funeral Home Association.

Sam has over 18 years experience in the profession with both sales and operations. His focus is on hiring and developing Sales leaders and working with the sales group to help families with pre-planning.

Chuck brings many years of experience in funeral service, former funeral home owner and years of funeral operations. Focus is working with the development of operations Managers and building the at-need structure of giving service to families.

Spanning a 25+ year career dedicated to serving families in the death care industry Mr. Faccinto holds funeral director, embalmer, crematory operator, life insurance, and pre-need sales licenses. Before joining SMART he spent 11 years in private ownership and the 10 years prior as a SVP of sales with SCI. In his role with SMART he oversees future and current strategies to enhance the client experience.

Mrs. Blalark brings over 15 years of customer service and collections experience to the NorthStar management team. Mrs. Blalark has a passion for providing customer satisfaction with a unique combination of intuitive and analytical abilities. Additionally, she is responsible for the development and implementation of customer impacting process and procedures for NorthStar’s internal and external customers.

Mr. Delehanty has over 25 years of experience in the marketing and communications profession with a history of innovative and effective marketing programs. He has overall responsibility for the creation and delivery of the company's message of Care, Comfort and Planning to consumers.
