Mark Hamilton is president and chief executive officer of NorthStar Memorial Group. Hamilton has 20 years of industry experience that includes acquisitions, corporate development, financial management, operations management and sales.



Brian L. Sullivan, Executive Vice President, COO

Brian Sullivan is executive vice president and chief operating officer of NorthStar Memorial Group. Sullivan is responsible for maintaining the company's overall culture built on the core values of passion, accountability, courage and trust. He is also charged with assessing consumer demands and meeting them with NorthStar's quality products and services.

Sullivan has more than 23 years of sales and operational experience. 



Robert March, Chief Sales Officer

Bob March, chief sales officer for NorthStar Memorial Group, oversees the hiring and training of the company's sales force. Within his scope of responsibilities, March is focused on maintaining NorthStar's standard of ethics and dedication to serving their current and future customers.

March is a 26-year veteran of the death care industry with a vast knowledge of industry sales and sales management.

March is a member of numerous industry associations.



Mark Shinder, Executive Vice President, CFO

Mark Shinder has served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of NorthStar Memorial Group since 2006. Shinder oversees the financial leadership of the company and is responsible for driving business growth and expanding NorthStar's corporate vision.

Shinder served as a senior financial advisor to leading multinational companies for over 10 years, specializing in business strategy, corporate finance, performance measurement and incentive compensation.



Robert Page, Chief Information Officer

Bob Page is chief information officer for NorthStar Memorial Group. He brings more than 19 years of industry experience to the position. He has extensive experience in funeral operations, regional finance, divisional IT and finance, corporate financial systems, North American sales, corporate financial reporting, budgeting and incentive planning.



Detlef Taylor, Vice President of Sales

Detlef Taylor’s primary focus is growing market share with preneed sales. He does this through hiring, training and maintaining top quality sales managers along with cutting edge marketing. Taylor has over 17 years experience in cemetery and funeral sales. He is a member of numerous industry associations.

John Renfro, Director of Company Funeral Operations

John Renfro is Director of Funeral Operations for Northstar Memorial Group.  Renfro was on site from the first NorthStar acquisition in Decatur.  His primary responsibility is to maintain and grow funeral operations through serving families with compassion, respect and true empathy and making sure the NorthStar locations offer innovative services and quality merchandise. 

Renfro has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 1993.

Renfro has served in many industry associations and is 2009-2010 President of the Illinois Cemetery and Funeral Home Association.  He is the first funeral director in the 83 year history of the association to be its president.
